Annnnnnnnnd another thing, our base price plus a filling, is still LESS than those bakers who include fillings in their base price! Also consider that if a baker tortes their cakes and uses several flavors of fillings in each tier, maybe they are trying to disguise their cake. Maybe their cake is not good! After all, all you taste is filling!!! As we have said before, Cake Dots takes pride in our cakes and our cakes can stand alone or have filling, it is YOUR choice (ok? ok).
To fill or not to fill, that is the question.
Yes, Cake Dots does offer DELICIOUS fillings for your wedding cake. And yes, some people MUST have fillings, which is fine because we have GOOOOOD fillings. Cake Dots especially love yellow or white cake with strawberry filling because we love strawberry shortcake.
Another classic combination is raspberry filling with yellow, white or chocolate cake. Raspberry with chocolate is downright yummy but with white or yellow cake, it is almost like the "comfort food" jellyroll. Yummmm.
However, Cake Dots absolute favorite is their "WORLDS BEST"
chocolate cake with their fabulous chocolate ganache filling. That is to
die for.

Cake Dots have given the "filling" question a lot of thought over the years and we can do what other bakers do: We can raise our price per serving to maybe $4.00, $4.50 or $4.75 and say, "The filling is included in the price," however, our cakes are delicious enough without fillings, therefore, we are keeping our present price and giving you the option of fillings as a side (so to speak).
Just remember that although it is YOUR cake, you must consider your guests; what do you think they would like? And if you really want fillings, you have the option to put fillings in all tiers or maybe just one or two tiers -- this is why we do not include fillings in our serving price.

Oops!! . . . Almost forgot, one of the very best combinations is Cake Dots Fabulous Chocolate cake with her Creamy Peanut Butter filling. That is definitely a must for Buckeye fans. It is wonderful.
